DIY Wood and Metal Dining Table with NO WELDING!! | Modern Builds

Today on Modern Builds I’m making a mid-century modern inspired dining table with a neat, angled, metal base out of aluminum tubing Without Welding. My video last week (no-weld coffee table) was an experiment in making a no-weld metal base and it came out pretty nice. BUT, because I used 3/4″ tubing, I didn’t have a lot of
“meat” to drill and screw into. It did work, but had room to be stronger, so I picked up some 2.5″ square aluminum tubing and designed a dining table around that. I couldn’t be happier with how this table came out…it might be my favorite build to date. Plus, it’s STRONG! like really strong.
