Today on Modern Builds my Dad and I are going to show you the proper way to set a flagpole, or any post for that matter, in the ground. He was visiting over 4th of July weekend and this seemed like the perfect father-son build! The hole you dig should be about 14-18″ wide and about 6″ deeper than your ground sleeve, always check your manufacturers directions and local codes.
