In this video, I show how I designed and built a coffee table from one sheet of plywood (actually quite a bit less). This is part of the “Rockler Plywood Challenge” that we’re (Modern Maker Podcast) putting on with the help of Rockler who has offered up some awesome prizes for participants. make sure to check out the rules so you can participate!
DIMENSIONS – (all pieces are 1/2″ baltic birch plywood)
Overall – 48″ x 24″ x 12″H
Table Top
Top layer – 48″ x 24″
middle layer – 42″ x 18″
bottom layer – 46″ x 22″
Base Pieces
Vertical Legs are 12″ long and taper from 1.5″ at the bottom to 3″ at the top.
Horizontal leg pieces are 8″ long and taper form 1″ on the inside to 2″ at the back corner where they meet the vertical
