Tiling a shower really requires a few basic steps. first decide on the design, tile and pattern and then you need to identify a level line. The easiest way is to use a cross line laser like in this video. installing tile on a waterproof surface means you cannot use a ledger board so I suggest using Mapei k
Kerabond T non modified cement so the tile will not slip. this makes it easier for any homeowner to accomplish as it keeps everything aligned during the entire install. Follow along in this video for information regarding how to cut tile and plan out the design so you can install around your niche without having to cut tile above and below the niche lines. This gives you a better than professional finish that will make your shower really stand out as a quality piece of work you can be proud of. Cheers!
