FAQ:

How many rolls of twine did you use? Around 5, but the amount you use will vary depending on your rug’s size & your gauge.

Was the twine rough on your hands? It wasn’t as bad as I thought, but you could wear gloves or protect your hands with lotion if you’re concerned.

How do you wash the rug? I shake mine out and/or vacuum it.
